Death in Suburbia MAG
Death in Suburbia
Snap
Crack
Thud
Whack
The sounds
Of
Murder.
Am I
The
Only
One
Who hears
Them?
So many
Young lives
Cut short,
Ended
On
A
Whim.
Beings that
Worked so
Hard to get
To where they
Were
In life.
Snipped off
When their existence
Was just starting.
Genocide.
Killing
Without compassion.
Am I
The only
One
Who cares?
Who tries
To save them
But fails?
After, I sit
In my room
Crying
About the lives
I could not win back.
And they call it gardening.

The truth is that at some point, everyone's going to hurt you. You just have to decide who's worth the pain.

Some say having something to lose is what makes you vulnerable. I believe that having something to lose only makes you stronger.
