Sitting on her lap, she looks up, admires, with eyes wide open.

She smells her perfume, like brown sugar. Nothing bad can happen.

She repeats herself. She repeats herself no less than eight times. Why her God?


The author's comments:

I have just gotten into writing in my creative writing class at school. Before the class, I hated writing but I have found a new liking to writing. The poem I have submitted above is a Sijo poem. I really enjoyed writing the poem and I hope you enjoy reading it just as much as I did writing it!
