Take No Harm
There’s a point to being polite, but it does come with a plight;
Just when do you decide to drop the bells and whistles?
I say, when it comes to light that somebody’s a blight,
That’s the time to show your brambles and thistles.
Don’t let them trample over you, or get at your roots;
When it comes to interactions, look for the good and take no substitutes.
Just show the brutes the perfect places for a few particularly sharp thorns,
And let your mind steer the life you’re taking by the horns.
