Alone
You tell me you love me
Doesn't that imply you care about me?
I ask your opinion on everything
You don't seem to care what I think
You never listen when I talk to you
You say you don't have time to
Of coming second, I'm not keen
Especially to a TV screen
You say you'll do something
Or that it's an okay thing
And you go and make me feel bad
About holding you to that
It's none but hypocrisy
And it hurts me to see
You say you care about me
But your actions disagree
You never seem to understand
What goes on inside my head
I feel so lost when I think of you
That's not what you're supposed to do
When it's something you do to me
Let's get over it, be carefree
If it's something I do to you
It requires some grand undo
Sure, I'll keep forgiving you
Because that's just what I do
So you take advantage
As I lay here damaged
