Rainy Day
When the clouds are darkened
And the air is warm
With it comes the wet feeling
When the rain starts you wish there was someone to kiss and enjoy this with you
You dance and sing
The beat is the soft patter of the drops hitting the ground
Then come the flashes that light up the whole sky
And as the thunder booms you can feel it in your chest
It’s cold but your going numb
Your mind starts to wander
You think of things in the past, the present, and things that have yet to come
The rain is comforting
It’s a dark thought but when you get that chance to think it’s like a personal drug.
