Bananas are good, and can come with their family in a crate

I am fun, and don’t like being by myself so I always bring a mate

They bruise easily so treat them right and you’re all set

I wear my heart on my sleeve so dont hurt me I wont forget

I make bad puns but make friends laugh loud enough that people often stare

These yellow fruit have a peel so there's a step before getting to the good stuff

I too come with a peel, and I hide what’s underneath because I wonder if I'm enough
