Lovely Roses
Lovely roses bloom,
Beneath clear blue skies,
On grassy knolls,
In the glorious countryside.
I stroll down the lane,
Fishing pole in hand,
With not a care in the world.
The day is magnificent.
The water laps,
Along the shoreline,
As my pole bobs,
With the current of the stream.
The melody bursts forth,
From my lips,
As I sing my song,
To the birds in the trees.
They begin to sing,
Along with me,
Our harmony,
Rising to the heavens.
Our shared love,
For the earth and our music,
Binds us together,
And makes us as one.
The music and the water,
Lifts my spirit,
As I walk home,
Fish in hand.
Lovely roses bloom,
Beneath clear blue skies,
On grassy knolls,
In the glorious countryside.
