Sundress.
I was three years old, smiling
The morning you lead me down the beach at night
in my softest attire
and left me when dusk carried the sandpipers
footprints away
I stayed there for quite some time
I grew up between the sharpest of ledges
and spoke to myself on most nights
The fishermen always wondered what I was up to
But I was in a sundress
And what could I do in a sundress?
