Stranger

As i pass by
Our eyes connect
In them all i see
Is a blank stare
That blank stare directed at me
You look at me like a stranger
As if we'd never meet
I don't see how it's possible
Because in my eyes
You'll never be a stranger
Just a long lost friend
A best friend lost by mistakes
That can never be taken back.
So for now, in your eyes
I remain a stranger
Just waiting to be meet.
