The Painter
The Painter
She dips the skinny, brown brush into the paint.
Emotions roll across the paper with every stroke.
Fear appears in the trees.
Happiness sits in the clouds.
Love arises up from the water.
The hand isn’t as steady as it used to be.
Her masterpiece will soon end.
When it does the world shall go on.
Every minute leads her one step closer into her creation.
The brush will someday accompany a young beautiful hand.
It will tell her story through the strokes sloshed onto the canvas.
The sun will show her courage.
Rocks will show her strength.
Flowers show her beauty.
The presence of her grace never to leave the bristles.
