Little Words
“Whee!” a little girl squeals
Delighted by how high she is swinging,
“Watch out!” a little boy shouts
Riding a bike, not watching where he’s going,
“Ouch!” a little girl yelps
Tripping over a toy in the grass,
“That’s mine!” a little boy cries
Frustrated, but this argument will soon pass,
Outside with the sun shining brightly all day
The little children use these words when they play.
