I Grew a Tree

I grew a Tree,
not just any old Tree,
but a Money Tree.

It started as a Seed...

My Seed grew into a Sapling,
not any old Sapling,
but a Magical Sapling.

My Sapling became a Bush,
not any old Bush,
but a Bop-It Bush.

My Bush became an Elm,
not any old Elm,
but a Monster Elm.

My Elm became an Oak,
not any old Oak,
but an Oak that gave a Seed...

I grew a Tree,
not any old Tree,
but a Money Tree.

The author's comments:
As a lover of nature, I would look outside and think about how beautiful the world was. I started to think about writing down what I feel in a poem, where anything can happen as long as I believed it. This is a poem from my Heart and Soul, and I deliver it to you now.

Ahaha! I like this very much. Were you trying to connect the material world with nature when speaking about the "Money Tree" and such?

I'm sorry, I'm analyzing.

A bop-it bush? I know nothing about plants. lol

But i do know that i love the repetition and how you ended with the same lines you started with. Thanks so much for commenting on iLove. Check out some of my other stuff if you have time. GOOD WORK:)

A bop-it bush?

it's really neat - I love the repetition - it creates a cycle. If you played with it, you could make each line a haiku (5 sylables, 7 sylables, 5 sylables). Great job! :D
