Sunset Tower
Silhouetted so sharply against
soft rose and orange clouds,
it stands.
Black against
the brightness of the foamy sunset,
it rises out of a dark landscape.
A pillar of man, set on spindly legs of iron,
it mars the picture.
Light shines all around it,
giving form to this splotch of humanity.
Brazen before the majestic sky,
the water tower stands silent.

I love the figurative language in this. I'm just having a little trouble deciphering it (but that's probably just me). Good job! :)
