Safe Haven

My house is where I want to be
No matter if it’s small
The smell of home is comfort
If I have a hard day I can go to
my safe haven
My family all together waiting to
Support me
Stairs I’ve walked down and up
A million times
Memories overflowing from my childhood
I’ve lived my whole life in this safe place
Furniture moves in and out and changes made
But I will always feel the same about my safe haven

I really love being home. I have lived my whole life in one house and I can't imagine living in another house even though I will move in the future. But for now, I'm just going to enjoy my safe haven.
