Remembering The Pain
I’m starting to remember
All the pain you put me through
All the things you said
Your could but wouldn’t do
And as much as it seems
That I wouldn’t give in
I’m screaming on my knees
Trying hard as hell to mend
I’ve tried to apologize
But my tongue agrees with my pride
There’s not much left for you to do
So why don’t you just stand aside
I mean your good at it
Hurting everything that’s breakable
But don’t touch me
Because it’s merely practical
My heart is too starved
And my mind has slithered away
But I know I’ll still follow you
Be loyal every single day
Just because you can’t deal
Doesn’t mean I can’t care
And even though you hurt me
My love, I’ll still share
