Fireworks
As she looked up at the fireworks in the night sky she couldn’t help but think about the little one growing in her
The little one that would be here soon
What was she going to do
Where was she going to go
She can’t go back
She must go forward
Now she just had the fireworks and the night sky
Soon she will have another life to care for one she would do anything for
Soon she will no longer be the child
Soon she will be the mother
But for tonight she is just one among many looking up at the fireworks in the night sky
