I stare at that purple flower
And try to understand
Understand why it turned from pink to purple
What’s the importance?
Why you had to leave
I wasn’t trying to think of that
To think of you
I was trying hard not to think of that
To think of anything but you
So I stare at the bookmark
Trying to understand all the questions
To understand everything
Maybe one day I will understand
And have all the questions answered
But until then I’ll he here staring at this bookmark
