Shadow of David
In a beautiful public square in Florence, Italy, a copy of the statue of David by Michelangelo towers over the crowds. Many questions are asked about Michelangelo's masterpiece. Why is is right hand too large? Did Michelangelo purposely create flaws in the statue? Is David looking directly at Goliath, and if so, why does he look so confident? But perhaps his shadow is just as intriguing. Taken December 2013 in Florence, Italy.
