Forgive Us!
Have you ever watched and author being interviewed about their newest book? Have you ever noticed how exited they get? The way their eyes just light up? I have. I’ve done it myself.
Anyone who takes pleasure in the written word knows the feeling. Understands why if you could talk about your characters all day you would. In a way, for authors at least, books are like that adorable forth grade picture you told your mom to burn but she shows it to everyone anyway. You just want to show off this great thing you have created.
Personally there is nothing I love more than talking about my characters endlessly. Speaking of there personalities and lives down to the tiniest detail. Its enough to make some of my friends want to rip there ears off.
So a message to anyone on the verge of ear loss, forgive us. Its a lot to ask but just remember that every character we create feels like our child in away, even the evil ones!
