Christmas Celebration
It's starting to look a lot like Christmas! Snow has fallen and you put up your tree. You open presents every December 25th and so you say that you celebrate this holiday.
There are a lot of Christmas celebrators that don't know what it's really about. Sure you know that this is the day that Jesus was born and that He was a big deal. Christmas is a christian holiday but most people that celebrate it don't even believe in God or Jesus. I think that before anyone even thinks of celebrating Jesus' birthday they should read God's word and become a christian.
Christmas is about God's love and how He gave his only son to give us another chance at life and a shot at heaven. The exchange of presents is a symbolic representation of the giving of God. Christmas is NOT about getting that cool new phone!!! It's about recognizing what good God has done for us and reminds us that we can always turn to Him. So during this holiday season, save a few moments for a prayer of thanks to the Lord.
