I think that even if you are not christian, you will make it in heaven! How do we know if what the bible says is true? We don't really have a reliable source for that. And just because you are not a follower does not? mean you are not his children. If God truly created us equally, in some way, why would there need to be a reason for going to hell or to heaven? In god's eyes we are his children, and nothing can change that. You shouldn't always trust something you read. I mean how do we know that they are hiding the truth from us with this bible?? How do we know it's not all made up?

I was answering a question on Youtube about this particular topic. It kind of raged me into writing this.

It's an interesting idea, but maybe you should expand on it a bit more. Your points aren't very strong. If you made the article a bit longer, it might be more convincing.

I personally believe in God. But, my thoughts are even if someone doesn't believe in God if they lead a good life they should still go to heaven.

Furthermore (I'm sorry about sounding mean on my comment. It was one of those "I raved and clicked submit" Moments.) But when talking about the bible you shouldn't reference things from it about God then say it doesn't exist...It doesn't count.

Interesting... actually there is significant historical evidence that backs up Scripture. Have you ever looked it up? If not, give it a shot. You might be surprised.

I believe you have missed a massive side of God's nature. Yes, he is an omni-benevolent being who longs to adopt us all, but He is also a gentleman. We must choose Him (and this is done solely through the prompting of the Holy Spirit). As for your opinions on the Bible... what are they based on?

There's absolutely no evidence for the existence of a god or of an afterlife.  Religion is unnecessary.

Not that others cannot be nice, but without religion no one would be nice... Example: before religion arrived in iran, iraq, afganistan and the country neighboring. people would be killed if they walked into someones yard... when religion came the killing lessened and the people united... religion sets a example inwhich people should follow, like a tutor you have outside of school.

Before when i was in my homeland the people would ask, " why are you religious? Do you recieve any privileges because you are?" No i dont, i am equal to all others, but truthfully religion is like a guide. You follow its instructions and you begin to live a happier live... THAT is the privilege of being religious... practicing the morals it encourages you to follow.

I don't see why you should be so offended. It is fact that there are different versions of the bible, and that some kings and queens altered it to suit their own agendas. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and this author is simply sharing hers.

I don't like saying that I believe in something above because we really have no idea. For as long as people have been on the Earth, who knows how everything started? I don't know if there is a God, and no one should be punished for having conflicted views on the matter. I see your point, but the artical gave mixed feelings when you started bringing in your own religion.

The Bible was written by men hundreds of years after any of the events of it "happened". Some pages were not even included. Who's to say for sure that anything in the Bible even occured? No one can say for sure, so why base your whole life around a book that could quite possibly be fiction when you could be out living? Ridiculous....

The reason God let sin into this world is so that we may see how truly amazing He is......

Romans 5: 20- Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound

I mean, if everything was perfect, we wouldn't see the need for God. And in response to the whole thing about how the Bible isn't true, how is it that people, hundreds to thousands of years before crucifixion was invented, could describe it perfectly? It was obviously inspired by something omnicient, something magical- God. And if God is omnicient, then He would not make a mistake anywhere in His Word; it proves that the Bible is wholly the truth. Now, some people's interpretations of the Bible are wrong, and some people fabricate complete foolishness. That does not change the validity of the Bible.
