Let's take a look:
Jesus Christ
Bio:
Born of the Virgin Mary
Born December 25th of Bethlehem
Birth announced by a star in the East
3 Kings followed to Adorn him
WAS A CHILD TEACHER AT 12
At 30 he was baptized by John the Baptist, Beginning his ministry

Star of the East = Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky
On the 24th, it alines with the three brightest stars in Orians belt
These three bright stars today are called what they were in ancient times:
The Three Kings
The Three Kings and the brightest star all point to the place of sunrise on
December 25th
This is why the 3 Kings follow the Star of the East, in order to locate the sunrise
And the birth of the sun
The virgin Mary is the constellation Virgo,
Also known as Virgo the Virgin, Virgo in latin meaning virgin
Also means the House of Bread
The Symbol is a virgin holding a shief of wheat
This representation is for August and September, the months of Harvest
In turn, Bethlehem literally means: House of Bread
Bethlehem is directly linked with Virgo
Days get Shorter during the winter solstice, showing the death of the sun
Sun continues to move southward until the 22nd, where it seems to stop
The 22nd, 23rd, and 24th it resides in the viscinity of the souther cross (Crux) constellation
Moves North one Degree on the 25th Continues North
THUS SAYING: The sun was dying, was dead for THREE days, and then was resurrected
This is why Jesus and numerous other idols share the three day death/resurrection attribute
It is the suns transition period before it shifts back North for the Spring
(Longer days, warmer days)
However, they do not celebrate the resurrection of the sun until the Spring Equinox,
(Easter)
This is because on the Spring Equinox the sun overpowers the darkness
More of the world is light then dark, and every day forward
Becomes longer then the night
And the conditions of spring emerge (flowers and budding)
12 Disciples signifies the 12 constellations, which Jesus,
Being the Sun
Travels about with
The number 12 is repeated throughout the bible
[12 Tribes of Israel
12 Sons of Jacob
12 Judges of Israel
12 Great Patriarchs
12 O.T. Prophets
12 Kings of Israel
12 Princes of Israel]
Jesus and all of the idols listed above can be directly linked to the sun and the constellations
Oh and P.S. The Crown of Thorns... They were just sun rays

no its not....at all. virtually no scholar or historian in any of the respective fields takes any of this seriously. this is the stuff of conspiracy theories, and is akin to holocaust denial and saying shakespeare didn't write his plays =P
read the scholarship please. not conspiracy theorists.
Jesus wasn't born on the 25th of December!
I suspect if the Zeitgeist movie couldn't get that simple fact right why should I trust the other fanciful claims made?
