Dear Reader Letter #1
Dear Reader,
Choose the people you hangout with wisely. Most people will think you are just like the people you hang around. Like me, I hang around with just about anyone. Just as long as they are nice to me. I’m what others call gullible. When someone calls me pretty, I’d take it heart. Sooner or later I will think it’s ok to speak to them the more they speak to me. Sometimes others would just talk to me to make fun of me though. This was one of the reasons I stopped speaking for 4 years.. though I’m pretty sure that when I first started speaking I was talkative and pretty annoying when it came to my mom, but I was still pretty quiet and a soft talker for someone who just started speaking. Only because I thought my words didn’t matter. Writing was my way of communicating with others. The older I got, the more I saw how much my words matter. I started speaking to others and tried to become more social.
Your opinion, your words matter. Don’t let others trick you into thinking they don’t.
