Heartbreak in so many words.
I guess what no one ever tells you as a child is: love isn't all it's cracked up to be. You're going to get hurt. You're going to have a best friend you fall for, and he's go ing to take your breath away, as well as your heart, and you learn to accept the fact that you will never have that piece of you again. As you grow older, no one ever tells you that these years aren't really the best of your life. They're just what's supposed to be the best. I think what I would love to tell my daughter, if I were ever to have one, is that you're going to get hurt. Sometimes there isn't that Knight in shining armor. However, if you're lucky, you'll find that it was worth it. All the times you get hurt, they lead you to person guy who won't try to hurt you, and who will move the sun and earth to please you. Isn't that every little girls dream? Someone who knows who you are through .and through and still can't get enough of you.
