"One day there will be a chance that you will say that you love one person and really mean it, but every day one person is at least loving you now." - Me

I don't understand why most people in the world don't like people of the same sex to be in a relationship. I'm bisexual myself and people come up to me and start critizing me because i am, but they dont understand that I'm special in my own way just like other ppl, no matter who they are.

Where I live the main population is gay, lesbian and bi people. In front of my school there are even people writing signs saying "God hates America and Fags are not welcomed here!" I am getting so sick of it! This is making us not want to come out and actually be us.

The government has no right to make laws saying that gays can not be married. God and government does not mix people! Get it straight! Some of yur friends might actually be gay, lesbian or bi, and would u not be there friend because of it? If you would, then you are messed up and not worthy of their friendship.

I think you're doing us all a favor by telling people how homosexuals actually feel.

You do realize that when the people on the Mayflower came here they were looking for Religious freedom, right? They didn't want people to tell them which religion to have. Just because you don't believe in a god doesn't mean you aren't religious, take it from an atheist. I do not believe in god, but Atheism is a religion. Religions such as and zoroastrianism are religions that do not denote a certain person as their "god". Before you try to give someone a history lesson on THEIR post maybe you should google it first, or perhaps that's too hard for you.

I support your cause, but not your grammar. Please, it sounds more profesional and helps to convince people that you care if write like you do: by capitilizing "I" and spelling out "you". I agree, though.

The article wasn't written that well, but you shouldn't bash the opinion because of it. I say, be who you want to be because you won't be able to live with yourself if you aren't .

First off, your title needs capitalization. Secondly, your grammar sucks. If you want to get your point across I think you can spare the extra time to write out the words 'people' and 'your'. And you need to check your spelling. It's atrocious.

But, I hope its deleted because they did not fix errors and carelessly submited it.Because of that I can't take it seriously.

I think everyone else said it well enough. I respect and agree with your opinion, but this isn't a text. This is an article, and if you expect to be taken seriously, you have to use proper grammar and a little more backing than "it's not fair, people should like who they like."

I agree. The author is at fault for not even proofreading her own article, and Teenink is also at fault for putting this on the front page, allowing for everybody to see this steaming pile of grammatical mess.

Wow really? You actually think the country was founded on religion? Yeah, uh...the idea was "freedom". THE VERY FIRST AMENDMENT! READ THAT!!!!!!!!! And like Mia Monster said, most of them were deist, atheist and agnostic. One of their main goals was to make sure that people had freedom of religion and weren't controlled by a theorcracy. Unless you'd like to end up like Iran of course, in which case I'll be in another country crying for the men who died in the American Revolution for MY freedom, and the men who are dying RIGHT NOW.

I'll make my previous post more clear.  It is sad, that on a website with so much talent, one devoted to skillful and incredible writers, that one of the top articles is written by someone who does not know the difference between "their" and "there."  Controversy does not equate to ability.  I am not a good writer by any means, but at least I fully spell out "people" and "because."

I always like these Homosexuallity or religious themed articles. And not because they're well written or meaningful. Just because they always have like two paragraphs and little more than "I like X and Dislike Y"

You are religious, eh? Let me EDUCATE you about your own religion, coming straight from the mouth of an Atheist.

If there is one thing I learned in Bible school (in preparation for conformation, and very much a determining factor towards my atheism), it is that we should never shove our own agenda down anybody's throat. Whether or not you know it, this is exactly what you are doing.
