Why are boys so confusing?

Why do boys always go for the pretty girls? They have to have the blonde hair and blue eyes! But what about the girls with dark hair and green eyes? Aren't they pretty too? Boys always go for the pretty girls, they want to look popular with those girls and be considered cool cause they go out with the "cute" girls! What's so cute about a ton of blonde cheerleaders thinking they're better then everyone else? In all the movies the blonde cheerleader has the guy at the beginning but then, in the end, the brunette get's him. Why can't it be like that in reality? Boys are so confusing. One moment they are together with the geeky girl, the next moment they are dancing at prom with a cheerleader. Why can't the girls that make sense and are beautiful in there own way be loved. Why are boys so cute, yet so hard.

the same could be said that girls only go for the most popular guys, leaving the nice and quiet ones behind. In my experiences, girls have been much more shallow than guys have

VirginiaHeart has a point, most blonds maybe have looks but im wondering if they have a heart. cuz i dont see it at all. im into the heart not looks. if u notice most of my friends (females) have nice hearts instead of looks. i dont believe this! -_-

hey! as a guy i dont like blonds, i have nothing against blue eyed girls. and by the way most of my female friends r not as skinny as people think. i dont look 4 a girl with a nice body, i go 4 a girl with a nice heart. i can understnad where u r coming from cuz i see it at my school a lot and i see break ups a lot. but im a guy who goes for heart not looks! omgz

My advice to you, Sockmonkeys, would be to see how things play out for you. He is dating this girl because he wants to be with her. This hateful girlfriend he has may have a difficult homelife or maybe a lot of unobvious problems. He might be able to see this, where as others can't. If they break up, go for him. If he wants to be with you, he will. :)
I agree 100%!!! I know what you mean. There's this boy ay school who I would absolutely die for! But he's going out with the most hateful girl ever. She thinks she's all that all because she hangs out with the 'blonde hair blue-eyed' cheerleader! I don't have anything against all of them. Only the snobby ones. :) Can someone tell me what I should do about him ???

Not all blondes are pretty. Even if they do have blue eyes. I actually think the girls with long dark brown hair and dark brown eyes are prettier.
Not every guy likes a girl with blue eyes and blonde hair. It was a fad and a lot of women that didnt have blonde hair, dyed theirs. But now i see a lot of people going RED (haha like me). Although a lot of people like blue eyed blondes, and they are pretty, its not like they're the only beautiful ones. I happen to have red hair and green eyes and people still think i'm beautiful. And if some guy doesnt want to be with you based only on not having the right look (which is still important but shouldnt be the only attribute) then why would you want to be with somebody like that? They can go learn their lesson. Everybody is beautiful in some person's eyes.

Ouch, thats harsh. First of all, all guys arent that way, thats just movies making you think their the exception and that in real life blondes don't get boys. not true. Pluse-is it really that hard of a question to answer as to why guys like pretty girls-its cause they're pretty.

I respect your opinion, but politely disagree. I have blonde hair and blue eyes and consider myself to be remotely "cute". I am in high school and no such thing has happened to me. At my school the OPPOSITE actually happens. The brunettes get the guys. Nice opinion though :)

Ohmyjeebus!!! Whoah,whoah,whoah, hold on!!! This piece makes sense, b/c in some cases, and in movies, this is how it works. She is not saying that this is how she feels or that all blonde cheerleaders are idiots. i dont think it anything to get worked up about. and theres no need to call names. i think the society has put an image of cheerleaders in our mind so when we do see that cheerleader, we atoumatically assume"there's miss airhead." no, its not right, but its an image thats in place. i can totally inderstand that your offended, but if you dont like the piece, move on. I think that possibly, maybe you should try to be a lil more understanding about their friennship and trust him enough to know that he's not gonna do anything wit her. If you keep tellin yourself tht somethings guna happen, it most likely will. and maybe try to be friends with the chick. it would make your guy happy and it would bring you closer to the girl and decrease the chance of her making a move. this is just my suggestion. either way, i hope it works out!!(:<3 sami

Pretty girls are not just all blonde hair and blue eyes,.what about black girls?..im pretty and i know it because all the boys want me at school and im African-american so dont just say blonde hair an blue eyes because its not true everybody is pretty in there own wat and its certain boys that go for what they want
