Crushed by Crushes
Crushed By Crushes
Every girl in high school has a crush , at least one every single year, and between them and friends , they call each one of them their “imagery boyfriends.” Within my friends I’ve categorized each boy just by their height , eye color , and whether or not they've made me laugh until I cry. Whenever I like someone new it’s because something about them stands out. I remember ninth grade year , during orientation I saw this guy , he had light hair and sorta bulky looking body and after a few week of school I saw him again at lunch and one of my close friends straight up asked what he thought about me and obviously he didn’t have any feeling towards me. I wasn’t upset about it though , I think I was blessed with not being afraid of rejection but this also makes me think about , the word “crush.” Most girls never make anything out of a crush , either because this guy the girl has seen and maybe talked to a few times is completely oblivious to the fact this girl like him , because boys don’t get that constant eye contact and randomly getting up in class from their seats just so the boy will hopefully look at them once and fall in love . In all reality , some guys are out our leagues and it sucks , but the few times the girl has the courage to expose her feeling , ten times more than likely to go downhill , her dreams are crushed , by a boy that fulls her standards in way every way except in the way that matters … feeling the same way she feels.
