The Pledge of Allegiance
Some people say the Pledge, while others refuse. I'm in the middle. I believe that there is not "liberty and justice for all." I believe in same-sex marriages. Half the states don't allow that. Also, I don't believe that politics and religion should go together. I am religious, but now there are a lot of different religions and a lot of people don't believe in GOD. But on the other hand, when we say the pledge we are giving thanks and respect to the veterans and military personnel for all that they've done for us. So, when I have to say the pledge, I stand and put my hand on my heart, but I don't speak.
