The Sins They Die For MAG
Young men and women
Dying
For the sins of
Powerful, ignorant men,
Who hide
Behind a web of lies, deceit and fear.
Our youth
Being shipped off
To hell,
Returning
In honorable coffins.
America’s children
Growing up too soon,
With guns in their hands,
Bravery in their minds,
And fear in their hearts.
Soldiers
Not coming home,
Leaving us with grief
For all we have
Are unanswered questions,
Unacceptable solutions to problems,
And a divided country.
Young men and women
Dying
For the sins of
Powerful, ignorant men
Who hide
Behind a web of lies, deceit and fear.
