Four A.M.
The milky light gasped out of the darkness. Almost choking on the silence. It glazed and spread against the wall coating the small room. It illuminated everything thing but darkened the things you can't touch. I twisted to get comfortable, but a bed of nails makes you restless after a while. I could hear the droplets from the faucet. They gave a rythmatic pattern. I started tapping my fingers to the music forming in my mind. Passing through my fingertips. The silent music was electrifying. In the most perfect of ways. I fell asleep with melodies dancing in my hair and the light twirling around my eyes.
