A Year from Now
A year from now, the Gates of Hell shall open, and the creatures of this world shall rejoice, and the special children will skippity-hop across the galaxy . . . I wish. My real prediction as to the state of the world follows as such. Gay marriage will be legal, Scottland will be planning to separate from England (again), and someone will have invented a new way for humans to kill both their braincells and their time. The Middle East will have a new set of dictators; North Korea will remain mostly unchanged, but simmering; and Russia will finally make a pass at Ukraine. Life as usual. And throughout this all, Americans as a whole will still grumble about all of this, and continue on with their daily lives.
