Do you think your family tree is as clean as a brand new sheet of paper? Behind every family is either a history or a lineage of mistakes and misconceptions paired with a missing link from past times. Whether it be recent family drama or an unsavory connection, there is no saving your lineage from a dirty past. You may be related to a Nazi, you may be related to a mass murderer; the possibilities are endless.

The dirt will be attached to you, maybe in unassuming ways, like on the bottom of your shoe, out of mind and sight. Or perhaps it’ll be plastered on your face, for everyone to see while they talk to you. However, this is not to say that all the sins of those you are related to are directly affecting you. Most times, you will simply be able to look the other way and condemn that dirt, washing it off. For example, take Osama bin Laden’s family. Osama bin Laden was notorious for his terrorist acts, however, his family is the complete opposite. They are supposedly relaxed, not anything at all like Osama. You should be able to rest easy.
