Anime Drawing Things!!!
Hello! I’m guessing if you are reading this, you draw anime, and maybe even saw my posts. Well, my favorite website for reference poses just came out with a “This is What I Use” list, so i decided to make one myself! I listed some utensils and websites I like to use to draw my anime.
For my art, I like to use:
Utensils:
- 0.7 mm mechanical pencils - Staples BIC Pastel
- 0.5 mm mechanical pencil -
- standard eraser - Amazon
- 4 and 5 graph paper - Staples Graph Notebook
- regular sketch book - Amazon Flying Eagle Sketchbook
- DINO PENS!!! - Amazon Censon Dinosaur Pens
- ½ inch D-ring binder - any kind works!
- 3 - hole puncher - again any kind works!
I didn’t come up with this stuff all on my own, I used some reference things too! Reference definitely helps!
- I din’t use all of these, I actually came up with some of the hair on my own and looking at real hair online: Drawingref.com
- I also look up random anime poses too! AnimeReferencePoses.com
- This is how I learned to make my own poses! MikeyMegaMega
Later on I will make an article with some pics I found on google and use, and one with different aesthetics/themes when you feel uninspired. Please comment below this article and tell me what tips you want to hear next. I will do my best to find resources, videos, and advice to put together for you guys. A bonus tip is that, if you are really good at making characters on Gacha Life or Gacha Club, just redraw those in anime form!
