Why does it matter what race you are,

Can someone answer me,

When you fill out an application why does it ask,

What Race You Are,

I would like to know,

Why it matters what race you are,

Is it because people only care about

the color of your skin,

Or,

Is it because no one knows any better,

Please tell me,

Why does it matter what race you are,

It can be any reason why,

I would just like to know,
