Tip, tap, tap, tap. “That’s was the sound of the rain hitting my window. It was peaceful and quiet, like the world had gone silently,” said Sonia in her head. Then, a loud bang was at her door, and her brothers came in and jumped on her.  “Heyyyyyyyy Sis, time to get up and start the day”, said her brothers. “Ahhh, stop it, I don’t want to get up,” said Sonia Angrily as she was struggling to push her brothers off her bed “Haha,” said her brothers, but then Sophia came in and looked down at the boys. “What are you doing,” Sophia said as she cracked her knuckles. They stop and looked at her, “hey sis….,” looking at her nervously. She picked them up, and threw them out and sits on Sonia’s bed. “Hey sis, it’s time to go to the doctors,” said Sophia. “I don’t want to the doctors, I hate it, it’s horrible,” said Sonia hiding under the covers. Sophia was getting impatience with Sonia. “Fine,” said Sophia, “I guess I will eat your cake that you have behind your clothes in your closet.” “Haha, yeah right,” said Sonia, “you wouldn’t eat, you don’t like eating cake.” “Oh, I know,” said Sophia smug looking, “that’s why the boys and dad ate your cake.” Sonia was alarmed and got up from the bed, and stormed out the room. Sophia was laughing out loud for what’s about to happen. Sonia head towards her father’s, and bangs on the door. “DAD, BROTHERS, PLEASE GET OUT HERE, said Sonia.” “What is it sweetie?” Said her father. “What do you want Sonia?” Said the boys. “Why did you eat my cake, it was MINE, I saved for later,” said Sonia furiously at her dad and brothers. “what? We didn’t eat your cake,” said the boys. Sonia was confused and thought for a second, and noticed that Sophia lied to her. She went to Sophia and Angle’s room and jumped Sophia. “YOU LIED TO ME,” said Sonia. “Hahaha, it was hysterical, we were laughing so hard, that we almost cried,” said Sophia and Angel. “Grrrr, why you,” said Sonia as jump on her sisters. Before she was about to hit them, their mother came in. “Good morning sweetie,” Rosie said happily. “Are you ready to go to the doctors Sonia,” Rosie said with a smile. “Yes mom….,” Sonia answered her mother’s question. She went in to her room and got dress and went downstairs, she saw her brothers watching tv. She went towards them, and hit them right of the back of their heads. “What the hell sis?!?” Said Vinny angrily. “Why did you do that?” Said Sam. “We’re sorry for jumping on you, jezze,” said Mike. Sonia laughed and went to her mother, and got in the car. “Ahhh, mom why do I have to go to the doctors on a Friday, what’s the whole point?” Sonia said curiously. “You know why; your health isn’t great like everyone’s else. You always run out of breath, and you do have something, that scientist don’t even understand what it is.” Rosie said with a bit of fear. “We don’t want to hurt yourself or……,” Rosie stop right there with a scared look on her face. “or what mom?” Sonia asked. “Never mind….,” Rosie answered, she stopped the car. “We’re here.” They got out the car, walked in and took a seat. Sonia was looking down at the floor thinking about what her mom was about to say, while Rosie was reading a book about diseases at birth. “Sonia Shine,” the doctor called. Sonia and her mother went to the doctor’s room. Sonia hold on to her mother’s hand. “Hello miss Sonia, I’m Dr. Steve.” “Hello…,” Sonia said nervously. Dr. Steve was doing a normal check-up, and she was waiting to get this over with. “Okay, Miss Sonia, now we need you to lay down and relax,” said Steve. “Okay…., Sonia said as she laid down with fear. “Mom, I’m scare, please, can we go home, now?”  Sonia said in fear and tears forming. “Don’t worry sweetie, I’m right here,” Rosie said. “Don’t worry,” said Steve, “I’m giving a shot that will knock her out, so we can give her the others.” “Okay,” said Sonia as he inserts the shot in to Sonia. “Now, relax,” Steve said as Sonia’s eyes were closing, and a memory appeared in her head. “Hey sis,” asked the 16 year-old Sophia, “do you want to play outside with the rest of us?” “Okay,” Sonia answered and went with her siblings. “Mom, we’re going outside to play,” Sophia said. “Okay, but make sure that Sonia doesn’t run that much, okay” Rosie asked, as they went outside. “So, what game are you playing,” Sonia asked. “We were thinking tag, and your it,” said the 11 year-old Braix. Everyone was having fun, then Sonia was tagged again, and she decided to chase after Sophia. “Sis wait,” cried out the tired Sonia, “I…. can’t…. keep…. up,” stops and passes out on the ground. “SONIA,” Sophia cried out as she went to Sonia and called for help.” Sis, hang in there,” Sophia cried out, then, Sonia woke up in the car. “Oh you’re awake,” said her mother. Sonia was still feeling a bit tired from the shots. “My head hurts,” Sonia cried in pain. “Go lay down once we get home, okay,” Rosie asked. “Okay mom,” Sonia said quietly.  Once they got home, Sonia went inside and saw Sophia and her boyfriend sitting down and watching tv. Sonia decided to go and sit on her sister’s lap. “SIS,” Sophia cried out, but Sonia asleep quickly. “Aww, that’s cute,” said Sam, her boyfriend. “Why…” said Sophia as she blushed. Sonia was sleeping, then she was hearing a tap, she thought it was glass, then she woke in shock. She found out that she was in a giant glass container filled with water. Sonia was freaking out where she was, but she noticed that she was in a laboratory that had lights that didn’t work that well. She saw many things caught her attention, but some tools caught her attention, she noticed that they were covered in blood. She was completely freaking out. But then, she heard that tapped again, and saw it was a little girl, about three years older than her. Then, she saw a scientist appear behind the girl and grabbed girl. Sonia woke up sweating in fear. “Sis, what’s wrong?!?” Sophia asked worried. “I’m fine, I’m just…… surprised.” Said Sonia. “What do you mean surprised,” Sophia asked again. “Um… it’s nothing,” Sonia answered. Sophia looked at Sam, and looked back at Sonia going up the stairs, and went in her room. “Hey…. Sweetie, are you going to bed this early?” Rosie asked Sonia as she got in bed. “Yeah, night,” Sonia answered back, then fell asleep. “Okay, night,” Rosie said as she left the room and closing the door. As she soon fell asleep, she woke up back in the container, but this time, it wasn’t filled with water. “Hello there,” said a random voice talking to Sonia. “Hello?” Said Sonia in confusion as she looked at the girl. Sonia realized it was the girl take was taken by the scientist. “I’m Sophie, and you are?” Sophie said with excitement. “I’m…… Sonia,” she said in a scared voice. “Cool, follow me or be left behind,” Sophie said as she went out running the room. “Wait,” Sonia said as she was following the girl. As Sonia was running, she noticed that she was in some weird hospital, but it smelled and there was blood everywhere. She was disgusted and breathing heavily, because of the smell of the dead bodies of boys and girls. Mary stopped causing Sonia to ram in to here. “What’s wrong?” Sonia asked. “Dad, I brought her here for you,” Sophie cried out in a room with other people, that seemed sick, and look young. “WHAT?!?” Sonia yelled, then a figure appeared out of the shadows, it was tall and looked like if it was a slender man. “T…hanks sw…ettie,” said the mysterious figure. “WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING,” Sonia screaming out. “Shhh, don’t yell, my dad doesn’t like yelling in his home,” Sophie told Sonia covering her mouth. “What…...?” Sonia questioned Sophie. “Nurses……can…. you…. take…. her….to…. the…. testing…. room……?” Said the Doctor. Then nurses grab Sonia from behind, by her neck, arms, and legs. “Hey get off of me,” Sonia said as she was struggling to break free. “Shhh, go to sleep, little one,” said the doctor as he was injecting her a needle in her neck, making her fall asleep. “Mom, dad, anyone…. help……me,” Sonia was saying as she was beginning to fall asleep, and then woke up in her room. It was thundering and raining outside. Sonia decided to see if anyone was still up, so she went downstairs, and saw her mom and dad fell asleep together on the couch, with the tv still on. Sonia turned off the tv, went to the kitchen, grab her medicine, and some water. She sat down between her mom and dad, took her medicine and went back to sleep. After a few minutes, Sonia woke up, and noticed that her parents were gone. “Mom, dad, where are you?” Sonia was wondering around and looking, and saw a mirror the size of the doorway where she was standing. She looked in the mirror, and saw herself, but it seemed she was covered in a weird black ooze. She went a bit closer, and once she closed enough, the other Sonia grabbed her, and covered her in the ooze. She was trying to get it off, but it was going up her faster. She struggled, and struggled, but she was almost fully covered. It was on her face, then she woke up in a panic and screaming in fear. Rosie and Max, woke up seeing that Sonia was crying and screaming. Rosie grabbed her and looked at her. “Sonia, what’s wrong,” Rosie asked with worried in her eyes. “I saw myself in a mirror, at the doorway, but I was covered in this weird black ooze. Then it grabbed me, and it was covering me, and……...,” she stopped because she didn’t know what happened after that. “What happened sweetie?” Rosie asked. “I don’t remember, after that, it just went black,” Sonia answered her mother’s question. “Well, are you okay now?” Rosie asked her mother. “I think so, I’m going to stay up,” Sonia said. “Are you sure sweetie,” asked Max. “Yeah dad, I’m sure,” Sonia answered her dad. “Okay, night sweetie,” Said her mother and father as they went up the stairs.  Sonia was sitting downstairs, on the couch staring out the window, wondering what those dreams meant. “Maybe I should go to sleep, because I have to go with my family to that hero day,” said Sonia talking in her head. Sonia went upstairs in her room, and went back to sleep. Next morning, Sonia woke up and heard a loud bang, coming from her sister’s room. Sonia got up and headed towards their room. Once she got there, she saw that Sophia and Angel were arguing about something. “NO, Sonia is going as something cute hero,” said Sophia yelling at Angel. “NO, Sonia is going as something heroic,” Said Angel yelling at Sophia. Sonia went back in to her room, and grabbed her costume, and went back in their room. They looked at Sonia and saw that she was wearing a dark blue hoodie covering her face, and a dark blue cape around her neck, with a dark blue dress coming down to her hips and dark blue sweatpants. Her sisters turned around and saw her dressed like that. “That’s what I call heroic,” said Angel in joy. “Why sis,” Sophia said as she grabbed Sonia by the shoulders. Sonia lifted part of her hoodie, only showing her eyes. Sophia said, “TOO CUTE,” as she hugged Sonia. “I’m not cute,” said Sonia blushing. “Hey girls, hurry up, we don’t want to be late for the festival, and…. lil sis, what are you supposed to be,” asked her brothers. “I’m Shadowia,” Sonia was trying to say in a dark deep voice. “So cute sis,” said Sophia as she was getting ready. “She’s not supposed to be cute, she’s a hero, an angle, a light of hope, for those that can’t save themselves,” said Sonia. “Yeah right,” said Sophia with sarcasm. “Kids, let’s go,” said Rosie from downstairs. “Coming mom,” they all said. Once they got downstairs, they were in costume too, and they went to the car, expect Sonia and Rosie. “Sonia, did you take you medicine,” Rosie asked Sonia. “Yes….,” Sonia said nervously. “Don’t lie to me, please,” said Rosie. Sonia grabbed her medicine, and took it. “Thank you, cute costume,” Rosie said happily. “Thanks mom,” Sonia said as she was blushing. Once everyone was in the car, they left and went in to town square. There were balloons flying, people in costume running, playing, stands filled with gifts, and food. Once Sonia and her family parked, they got out, Rosie, Max, and the boys went together. Sophia, Angle, Braxie, and Sonia went around, to see what they have going on. “This is so cool,” said Braxie screaming in joy as she was running stand to stand. “Hey, stop Braxie,” said Angel as she was trying to stop her. “Sonia, are you okay,” asked Sophia. Sonia didn’t hear what Sophia, because she saw the girl from her dream, standing on the other side of the street. Once that girl turned and looked at Sonia, she disappears in thin air. “SIS,” Sophia yelling at Sonia. Sonia turned to Sophia and answered, “I’m fine.” Then a huge crowed was gathering around something, faint words were coming in the middle. Sonia and Sophia went to see what was going on, and they saw a huge 12th grader boy bullying a little 5th grader girl. “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE LITTLE GIRL,” Jake yelling at the girl. “I just want to have fun,” cried out the girl. Everyone was standing there in shock, they want to help, but if they did, they would get beaten by that boy. Sophia was getting mad, and decided to go help that girl out. “Stay here Sonia,” said Sophia. “Sis,” Sonia called out. As the boy was beating the girl up, someone called him out. “Hey fatass,” Sophia cried out. The boy stopped beating the girl up, and dropped her on the ground. Sonia helped the girl up, and walked her out of the center. There was a moment of silence, then Sophia and the boy went head to head. They were fighting like there was no tomorrow. Once Sonia helped out the girl, she went back and saw that Sophia was lying on ground bruised and beaten up. “SIS,” Sonia cried out as she was running to her. Sonia stopped and felled down to her knees and tears started to form. “WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM,” Sonia said furiously. “What, are you going to cry because I beat up your sis, waaaa,” said Jake taunting her. He was then laughing at her, then looked at everyone who was in shock. “Laugh with me, or you’re all going to get it,” said the boy. Then everyone was nervously laughing. Sonia got up and put up both her hands in to fist. “HAHAHA, this is too good, you think that you can beat me up,” said Jake laughing hysterically.  “YES,” said Sonia as she was running towards the boy ready to punch him. She was about to hit him, but he punched Sonia in her stomach, causing her to be flung back. She hit the ground, and tries to get up, but coughs blood on to the ground. “HAHAHA,” the Jake started laughing at Sonia. She was about to pass out, but then she saw Sophie’s shoes, she looked up, and saw Sophie’s hand reaching out to help her. Sonia grabbed her hand, and Sophie smiled and helped her. As Jake was laughing and about to leave, Sonia got up and was ready to fight once more. He turned and saw Sonia barley standing up, holding her fist up. “WHAT, how are you still standing, that punch was hard enough to knock you out,” said Jake. Then Sonia put up the bird, causing everyone to go in to shock, mostly Jake. “Oh… YOU’RE GOING TO GET IT,” said Jake running towards Sonia. Sonia runs towards him, and slide under him, dodging his punching. “What the….,” said Jake as he hit the wall, causing some blood coming out his mouth and nose. Everyone looked as Sonia in surprise. “Who are you,” asked a random girl. “I’m……SHADOWIA,” Sonia said in deep voice with confidence. Jake got up, and looked at Shadowia with rage. “Oh s***,” said Sonia in her head. Jake was charging at Sonia like a bull, but Sonia punched him in the face, right when he came towards her. “Owww….,” Jake cried in pain as he landed on the ground. Then Sonia felt pain in her head, and landed on her knees. Sophia finally woke up and saw Sonia on knees grabbing her head, and the boy passed out on the ground. “Sis, what happened,” asked Sophia. “I defeated this boy, ow my head,” said Sonia. “Yeah, I recorded it on my phone,” said the beaten up 5th grader girl. That girl showed them the video. “Wow, how come no one helped So…. I’m mean Shadowia,” asked Sophia. “No one couldn’t stand up to him, he beaten up everyone,” said the girl. “Wait, even adults,” said Sonia and Sophia. “Yeah,” said the girl. Everyone looked at Shadowia, and started clapping. “Welll...... I guess you’re famous now Shadowia,” said Sophia. She turned and found out that she was nowhere to be found. Rosie and Max were walking down the street when they saw Sonia ram in to them. “Sweetie, is everything okay…… are you…. BLEEDING,” said Rosie with shocked as she grabbed Sonia by the shoulders. “Mom I’m fine,” said Sonia blushing. Rosie lifted up Sonia’s hoodie, and found out that Sonia had blood coming out her mouth. “HOW DID THIS HAPPENED,” Rosie yelled at Sonia. “I fought a guy, because he hurt Sophia, and now people call me Shadowia,” said Sonia. “WHAT,” said Rosie as she ran to see where Sophia is. The boys, Max and Sonia ran after Rosie. Once they got there, they saw Sophia being helped up by Braix and Angel. “SOPHIA,” cried out Rosie. “Yes mom?” Asked Sophia, “Are you okay,” cried Rosie. “Yeah, I’m fine,” said Sophia. “Really, then explain why is there a video of Sonia fighting this boy laying on the ground,” Rosie said with a bit of rage. “um….,” said Sonia. “You may want to get her out of here, before his gang comes and beat her up badly,” said the girl. “WHAT,” said Sonia and her family. “Come on guys, let’s go home now,” said Rosie as she grabbed her family and put them in the car. They were driving on the road, and Sonia fell asleep on Sophia.
