Summary:

Portia fixated on the idea of heartbreak that summer, wondering how it began, how it carried on, and how it ended. Told from her point of view in her choppy and metaphorical point of view, the idea of love is analyzed: and Portia discovers that, perhaps, she's been the one breaking hearts all along.
