WHAT NOT TO DO IN A CRISIS
(Waring some Coarse language is used)
Chapter 1
narrator
Once there was a boy named Eggan, he was just getting to his house when out of the blue he was catapulted almost twenty yards. Eggan was wondering aloud when he said, “Gee Whizz, I went far. If this is a prank then it is a resplendent one, and should be posted on Twitch.“ He looked around and saw none and heard no one. The only thing that he saw was… nothing he saw absolutely nothing. It was as if he was blasted into a part of space and time where something tragic happened to the landscape making it so that nothing was there. When he used his watch to zoom in on the other side he saw a hint of blue, that could only mean two things, sky and/or ocean.
The first thing that he did after his discovery was create an elytra using the artificial trees all around him. After that he built up using the remaining of the tree he chopped down. With his elytra he jumped off and started zooming towards the hint of blue. After about half an hour of flying he finally saw the ocean. The problem was that there was no land and so no place to rest. With some of the best luck possible he spotted a ruined portal and some one looting it. He called down to the person and saw that they were done looting and was waiting for him to land so he could explain what he was doing.
Chapter 2
Eggan
One conversation later I learned that person was a girl and named Alex, short for Alexandria. Then we decided to split the loot between us and form an alliance.
When she heard my name, she got wary and asked, "Do you have a name tag?”
I was confused why she asked so I responded with "Why?”
After I said that then she started backing away from me and replied ”Answer the question, NOW.”
“Of course not. Now answer my question” I retorted.
“Where I come from people are either named Steve or Alex, I thought that you were a villager at first and that I just lost half of my portal loot. Now that I think about it, you look different with your lightish hair and skin. Do you come from a different Biome?”
“A different whAT??”
“Biome idiot”
“I came from across the…” I had to stop because where the void was was now a forest of dark oak. “Was there always a forest there?” I said with utmost confusion.
“Yeah dummy, where do you think you came from.”
“I glided over here with an elytra, and went over the void.”
“An ELYTRA!!! Can I take it out for a test run? Pretty, pretty please.”
“Sure, as long as I can go see your village.”
“Absolutely.” Alex said this with the utmost enthusiasm.
Chapter 3
Alex
I don’t know how or why, but someone named Eggan dropped from the sky with an Elytra and we became an allianced against the other factions. I really hope that Eggan knows about the factions because otherwise he has lived under a rock for the past one hundred and sixty two years. The factions are when the main country broke up into four main “factions'’. These four main factions have been at war for the past one hundred and sixty one years. The lost year was for preparation and signing a contract as to what to do and what to not do when they meet on the battlefield. A couple of such things are no other dimensions, no TNT rain, no enchants, and no unfair potion. Some things that you should do is if you are at the front lines then fight honorably and if you don’t then you will be the one person remembered for making the war ten times worse, as then the other sides won’t fight honorably as well. Since we are not allowed to go to another dimension, we have to mine and preserve our resources like food. Truces can’t be made on the spot and it needs to be announced to all other parties involved in the war. The bad part of all this is that we are currently in a standoff as the front lines hold while the miners and farmers do their best to supply the warriors with everything that they need. In Eggan and I’s case we are going to need to prepare for a match that we are outnumbered at two hundred and fifty to one. I really hope that Eggan has some secret bunker or something like that.
Chapter 4
Narrator
As the pair continued to travel in an attempt to find one or multiple places to build traps, houses, and bunkers using the supplies that they could find in the overworld. Eggan thought that he was setting traps for animals and bunkers as a backup just in case something like a storm hit and destroyed the main house. Once they found a nice clean mountain side to carve and make their house, they started this massive project. After nearly three months, with a friendship ever growing stronger and stronger, their first strom appeared before they were done building the bunker. As a consequence of the storm the inside of the bunker got completely and utterly ravaged and this sent them back one month’s of work.
With this extra month that was needed they missed the calling for all parties in the faction war. This means that they could not do anything until the next faction convocation as everyone called it. This means that they would need to wait another year to participate in the war. As the pair pondered what to do Eggan asked the question that would turn the tide of the war.
Chapter Five
Eggan
“Why are we not going to the other dimensions if we are not technically in the war.” Eggan vocalized after a while of silent travel.
“I suppose you are right we could go… but if anyone catches us we won't be able to enter the war of the century. In case you couldn’t tell I really want to enter the war, it will be exciting. Ohh yeah I forgot to mention that there are some people that you need to look out for. You need to look out for the people with changed names and among the changed names if you see these people run away or try to trap them, they are considered the strongest to ever live in a war zone. They are named Silver, Notch, Dream, The Blade, Wisp, Sword, and Feinburg. They have taken on whole armies with their specialized weapons and abilities. Beyond any shadow of doubt If you take them on you will perish. Sorry for the rant.” Alex replied
“It’s fine. You know that I will go on rants all the time. Also why are they named what they are named? Before you answer that, when did the war start I have never heard of it before?”
“REALLY!!! You haven’t heard of the war. It has been going on for one hundred and sixty two years!”
“B.S. stop pulling my leg. I know I live a shelter life but not that shelter. I learn about world problems every year or so.”
“Did you live in the dark oak forest or something? I am telling the truth, ask anyone or anything that talks.”
“Okay, okay, okay I believe you. Now could you answer my initial question, please.”
“Okay. Silver is short for Speedsilver because he got the fastest time in clutching up in hard situations, but he almost died one time so he got demoted to Silver from his last position, Gold. Notch is called Notch because that is The God that most people believe in. Dream is called Dream because his skills in everything are more dream-like than human-like. The Blade and Sword are both ungodly combat professionals. It is rumored that if those two fought the fight would not end as they both would either block until their shield breaks or until their armor breaks. When things like this happen in a fight the fight is paused so the other person can restock their broken pieces. Wisp is named Wisp because of his dabble in fire. It is said he can kill you using the wisps from a perished fire. Feinburg is called Feinburg because when he is on any burg, like an iceberg, then there is no hope for victory, only defeat or retreat are options.”
“They sound scary, what do they look like?”
“Come to think of it, they all look like you. You also have a weird name. You might be able to go toe to toe with them. Do you have any abilities?”
Eggan instantly responded” I have a strong IQ and I have fast thinking. That is about it.”
“What is your IQ?”
“350” he said with the utmost causality.
“350, your a F*cking genius.”
“Hey, Hey watch your language, miss.”
Chapter 6
Narrator
As Alex pondered how one could be so smart, Eggan was thinking of the information he just got and what he could do with it. He decided that he would think about the most effective trap and the materials needed to build it inside their house and bunker. He decided that a fall trap was what they were expecting. So he prepared a fake fall trap that made it so that when it detected movement the floor would drop from beneath them. As the only way to clutch was with either blocks or water. There would be some pointed dripstone that would fall from a devastating height of fifty meters from the top of the fall trap. They will fall one hundred meters, so the dripstones will fall one-hundred-fifty meters. That will surely be enough to kill them. The only problem is getting a good enough pickaxe to do that. They decided to finally travel to Alex’s home village. While they were there they traded with Alex’s friends and family. As they knew Alex they gave her and Eggan a discount on their trades. One day later Eggan had a god pickaxe and started his tedious task of mining all the way down one-hundred meters. He made his way back up using ladders and breaking the ladders under him as he went up. When he made it to ground level he used the resources from mining to build up and place the dripstone that he connected with a skulk sensor and skulk catalyst so that when they were falling the dripstone would fall on them exactly 1.5 seconds after they hit the ground. Once they finished up many more traps like this they decided to make their presence known in the war by going to the next Convention of War. At the Convention of War they entered and they learned that while they were here Dream and The Blade were currently duking it out roughly twenty five or so meters from one of their traps.
Once they learned of this they fully sprinted to their trap and on the way they decided that Alex would prepare the trap while Eggan baited them over. When she asked how Eggan smiled and said, ”Find out soon, won’t you.” She decided to trust him because of his IQ and how long they had been together. Right as she got to the trap she heard two explosions happening near where the two people were fighting. A couple moments later Alex heard running footsteps and Eggan’s voice bellow “DO IT!!!” She did as he asked and when she did she heard a muffled yelp of surprise as the floor underneath someone vanished, replaced with air. Only with the echo could they hear water and blocks being placed. Right after they heard the blocks, there was a satisfying “thunk” and a splashing sound. As they looked down they saw that The Blade was smart enough to stay out of the trap and the Dream managed to water clutch and place blocks over his head in 1.5 seconds. Now they both looked at us with confusion and asked who we are. Since we had to be honorable, as per rules, we answered honestly and left out no details. After we finished we asked why they were fighting and they both said that they were fighting because someone was willing to pay them large sums of resources to the winner of their fight. Now that The Blade had high ground he decided to offer surender from Dream and it was accepted. The Blade walked off to reap his rewards while dream was left to figure a way out of the trap. Alex decided to help him while Eggan went off to hunt for people that are alone or food to harvest or hunt.
Chapter 8
Eggan
As I was hunting I was pondering two things. One, how did Dream know to place blocks over his head. I’m debating between two things. Either he saw the dripstone, which would require the best of visions, or it was reflex. I am leaning towards the best of visions because that could have been another key part in his many encounters with other people/nations. Two was how did I end up in a world with war. He started thinking out loud
“Last I remember of the normal world was that they had just resolved a war about this exact topic and that the war took nearly one-hundred-sixty-six years. When she said something about the war having gone on for nearly as much as that I got reminded of it. I wonder if I traveled into a dimension where the war hasn’t ended yet. I know how the war ended and it is looking like that might happen here. How the war ended was that someone from the future came and helped one party by giving them how to craft some things that hadn’t been learned yet. When they brought it to the battlefield they won the battles due to shock and wonder. Now I am wondering if that is what will happen here. The only difference is that I am not from the future and the person who came teamed with a team and not a solo player.”
Now I exasperated and when I tried my best to catch it I heard a rustling sound coming from my eight o’clock position. I slowly turned to see a hoard of cows and sheep roaming around in a plains nearly one-hundred meter away. I took four leads and a fire ax as I stalked towards the animals. I swung the ax with as much force as was needed to cleanly lacerate into the cows throat with my ax. It was a swift ending for the cow. I managed to not get hit by the spurt of blood that ensued and put the cow into my bag.
As I made the trek home, I realized that Dream was still at the base. When I asked why he was here I learned that Dream wanted to team with us and make an official team name. I heard his reasoning, and in my eyes I think that he is either quick on his feet or this is real. When I asked if he would give us the location of his main base if we become a team he said yes. We decided to become a bigger team and he led us on the longest journey of my life. It was ten days of nonstop moving, and a couple mishaps like losing our sense of direction. After what seemed like an eternity, we finally got to the “Dreamy” base, I chuckled to myself at that thought. When they asked me what I was chuckling about I told them and we couldn’t stop laughing. The main reason that we could not stop laughing was that when we stopped there was always someone else laughing and that made us crack up again.
Chapter 9
Dream
As we walked into my main garrison, I thought to myself I should refurbish the base so that it looks welcoming to other strangers. If it looks better to strangers then maybe we will get more people to ally with us. One more benefit is that I can make the name “Dreamy” base a thing. That is a really clever name that Eggan came up with. With the way that he is I feel like that he is acting way more simpleminded than he is. Now granted he is not acting dumb he seems like he is very good at acting normal and so that makes me suspect that he is either one of the most average people in the whole world or he is one of the smartest, if not the smartest person to ever live. I am pretty confident that it is the latter because I have a hidden talent of reading people like a book. That is why I knew to place obsidian over my head in his fall trap. Eggan made it seem like it was nothing falling, but Alex’s body language gave all of the trap away. If The Blade would have fallen in I am pretty confident that he would have died. If he had died then that would have been super beneficial to the people that I am working with as we would have a massive gear, supply, and knowledge advantage. We could use the fact that no one knew that he was dead to launch a surprise attack on all of the other supposedly inviolable combative masters. Once we got to the front entrance we entered the extremely unnecessarily long code of NDGWJDPBSHhfkefkfhjkrh93750646279250. When my companions asked how I could remember such a long code I lied and told them that it was on my arm sleeve. Eggan seemed skeptical while Alex went along with it. After I introduced the two to the guards Eggan pulled me to the side and said “I know that you don’t have that code on your arm. Your arm sleeve went up when you fell so I got a good look at your arms. There was nothing but a couple of scars.”
I responded with “It’s none of your business, I don’t want to relive the experience.”
After Eggan heard that he said “I am sorry for your tragic surgical experiences. Talk to me when you have freetime as there are kids coming over to talk to you.” With that Eggan turned around and, with his hand in the air he put his middle finger and pointer finger up into the air symbolizing peace, strided off to go get Alex and/or meet the hundred or so people whom I live with.
Chapter 10

As Eggan and Alex got acquainted with the other residents of the newly named Dreamy Garrison they looked at the refurbishing that they had helped with
