Dyad Hexipon
Summary:
Loy is an immortal man who was born in an ancient village where he was outcasted. As he travels the world and wonders about his own humanity and the nature of life, he meets another man named Pondo who is also immortal. The two have encounters battling in Ancient Rome, questioning the origin of their being in an oasis in Egypt, and reconciling in the trenches of World War I. Loy and Pondo eventually befriend each other until it is revealed that Pondo is dying of a specific type of cancer. In the end, Loy is forced to come to the conclusion that the questions he has about his own existence don't have satisfactory answers, and Loy learns to truly appreciate the gift of life he has been given.
