Sapphire Blue
Summary:
Adam has had a crush on Chloe Maxwell ever since she moved next door from California after the death of her mother in the sixth grade. She's perfect. She's smart. She's pretty. She's kind to everyone. When the two are partnered together for a history project, it's the best day of his life.
At the end of the period, Chloe gives Adam her phone number and in her rush to get home, she accidentally leaves behind her diary. Adam decides to deliver the diary to Chloe at her house in hopes of being able to talk to her again. However, when Adam reaches Chloe's house, her stepmother answers it saying that Chloe wasn't home.
