Teacher of the year
I went to New Holstein High School I felt like I was in a death trap. My biology teacher was always straight to the point. He was the nicest teacher I could ever have. Mr Rupp would always have stories to tell before we would start class. Jeremy was one of the students he would make fun of because it's what he would do, and the class would always laugh at it.
As the days passed I just kept failing test after test. I was the apple that fell from the tree. Mr Rupp, he was so generous that the next day I came to school he gave me a book that was for studying. It was a book where I could take home. I can’t believe he went out of his way to help out his students. Instead of struggling he said you can work on this book at home and study with it while working through it. I thanked him and I took it to study hall and started to do the the first page, but I just didn’t study I thought if I just continue and do this book every day that it would help.
There was one time I got a C+ but that was just luck. I tried to cheat on a test once but he knew dang right what I planned on doing. So he grabbed my cheat sheet from my binder from the floor. After the test he asked to talk to me and he said “Are you trying to be a super senior?” and I said no I just don’t understand these things. He told me that I can stay after class and get help or even come in early and get help. I never took that opportunity.
Weeks passed and I took a test and I still failed and I didn’t understand why I failed that test. We had another talk. Saying if I don’t get my mind straight I won’t graduate school. And I didn’t want that I wanted to do what I loved best and that was working on cars.
I finally got my stuffy together and I moved to Hartland I go to school for 3 hours. I have better grades then what I did when I went to New Holstein schools. I have a good paying job and things are going a lot better. He just made me feel a lot better when he told me what would happen to me if I kept acting how I was acting.
