“The Lord has done great things for us, we are filled with joy,” makes me think of all the things I have been blessed with and how much of an impact they have on my life. Blessings we receive from God no matter how big or how small lead us to opportunities that fill us with joy. This only happens to us if we choose to accept and embrace his blessings to better the lives of ourselves and others. Expressing our blessings from God to bring other closer to God gives a glimpse of his true love for us that bring us true joy which our hearts long for. As St. Augustine of Hippo said “, Our hearts cannot rest until they rest in him.”

A major blessing that God has given me in my life is my family. This blessing is very important and has had a very big impact on my life because they are what keeps my strong in my faith with God and in a relationship with him. This is what brings me true joy in my life by understanding he will always be there for me and helping others and making sacrifices for him. The blessing of family also has a big impact of my life by pushing me to be the best version of myself which helps me push myself in all aspects of my life. This blessing fills me with joy because it pushes me to be successful in my life and not waste our gift of life but instead use it to fill others with joy as Jesus did on earth. Best

God has also given me the blessing of a Catholic school which has made a big impact on my life in numerous ways. This blessing has given me a chance to strengthen my faith everyday through prayer before class. The gift has also brought me joy in my life by leading me to my best friends. They bring me joy by the way they support and care for me in my everyday life and always do stuff with me that are so fun. Lastly, God’s gift to me of a Catholic school and education has brought me much joy by the way it leads to helping others through Christian Service hours and how the environment of my everyday life at my high school is full of kind and helpful which pushes me to want to do the same.

The ability to participate in athletics has been a huge blessing in my life that I am very thankful for. The blessings from God has brought joy to my life by the way it is something that I can escape to and enjoy when times are hard or I just need something to do because I am good at them. Athletics have also brought joy to my life because when I play and am part of team which I can participate and compete with and make others better. Lastly, God’s blessing to me of athletics brings me joy by the way I am taught lessons and gives me life lessons like never giving up or trying your hardest which I can apply to all aspects of my life.
