Apple or Samsung? That is the question. Without looking at it with someone else’s perspective I would lean far to one side of this argument. Today I’m going to look at it from both sides trying to be completely unbiased when talking about this topic. Many people disagree about this topic and that is why I feel we should search for an answer. My dad and I have arguments over this all the time, so I’m going to compare them in different categories and see how they match up.

My dad truly believes that Samsungs are the best phone out there. I think the exact opposite of what he thinks. I believe that iPhones are the number one smartphone on the market. Many people in the world disagree just like me and my dad do. Some people think iPhones are on top of all phones like I do. Some people would take my dad's side and say Samsungs are the leading phone. I own an iPhone 7 and my dad owns a Samsung galaxy S7 edge.

iPhones are the best smartphone that has ever been made. That is my argument. The iPhone 7 has a brand new 3D touch feature that no other phone has. This feature allows you to make little shortcuts to make it quick and easier to navigate through the advanced technology we call smartphones. Samsung comes with an AMOLED screen. Some people think this is a bad thing, all though some people thinks this is a positive. An AMOLED screen is more prone to burned pixels. So an LCD screen instead of an AMOLED will last longer.

My dad agrees with the other side of this argument. He thinks that Samsung phones are better than Apple’s iPhones. I have to look at it from a perspective other than mine so I’m not biased toward my opinion. The people my dad agrees with may think the 3D touch feature is not needed. They might even say it is lazy and takes the easy way out. The AMOLED screen isn’t a bad thing it just won’t last as long as an iPhone's LCD screen. Also, each camera has it own different categories it is good at. They both are 12-megapixel cameras, but the have some differences as well. The iPhone has a new Quad LCD that is 50% brighter than the last one. All though the Samsung S7 Edge has better contrast and detail. The front camera however the phones are almost the exact same. I used to agree with this side of the argument but I switched over and I’m a fan of Apple now.

I think it just comes down to a personal opinion. It depends on your needs and wants of a smartphone. If you like a Samsung device then go for it. It is just my personal preference to own an iPhone. I’ve opened up to the Samsung side’s opinions and I understand why they like the phones and why they dislike Apple products. I feel like there’s no real answer to this argument and it is just up to you to decide which one is better for you.
