The House Fire
More than seven years ago, my family and I had a house fire. I wasn’t there at the time because I was with my Dad. He got a call from my sister saying that our house was on fire. We drove to our house and saw firefighters trying to put the fire out. My sister said that the cause of the fire was the heater because something got into it and made it burst into flames.
After the fire, my parents had decided to live in a hotel for awhile. I didn’t like it much because I wanted to be at my home. After going between two hotels, we rented a house. My family and I lived there for about one and a half years. I liked it better than hotels. About a few months after we moved into our rental house, my parents told me that our house was going to be rebuilt.
After my parents told me about our house, I was excited to be moving back. Construction on our new house started around a few weeks after my parents told me, because it took awhile planning what the house was going to look like and blueprints of it. I felt happy.
