It was the beginning of the quarrel. As I went to the 5th grade classroom, I saw Elica abusing Sally. Suddenly, they became arguing.  Meanwhile, Amanda left the classroom. “ What’s wrong with them?”, I thought, “ Did Sally say something to Elica that makes her angry?”. I soon decided to ask Amanda what happened, she always notice some small reasons that can tell her how things happen. I left the classroom to find where Amanda is. She was in the bathroom.

“ Do you know why they are arguing?”, I asked, “ Of course.”, Amanda responded. “ Then do you know how to stop them?”, I asked another question. I wondered what makes them quarrel. “ They are my friends, I  have to notice and solve it.”, “ There is no way to make them stop, except for one. If they both decide to stop and become friends, then it can be stopped.” Amanda answered.

“ Ok…, I see. Then, can you help me? Aren’t they also your friends? Don’t you want to see them playing together, chatting, and no trouble between them?”, “ I will help in another way. If you didn’t succeed with stop them from quarreling, I will do it.” Amanda agreed with me. I hoped we can do it.

As we came back to the classroom, Elica and Sally arguing louder than 10 minutes ago. Amanda seemed sadly for that. I asked Nancy for why it becomes worse. “We had to figure out a plan to make them friends. Amanda was going to ask them questions about the arguing, such as, “ Is it worth to spend your time in this kind of childish thing?”, or “ Are you sure to keep being enemy to her? Do you have to do that? Aren’t there other ways to solve this problem?”. About one month later, Elica and Sally really seemed to be friends again.

“ The things are not always positive or negative if you look at them on a different way.”, my dad told me.

Even though the quarrel seems unhelpful and insignificant to us, but I think I’ve learned some important things from them. People always have different viewpoints. However, it does not mean that others’ thoughts are wrong. Humans have different habits and interests, it makes people different from others.

You can look at the world in many ways. Please remember: You are not the greatest or the most powerful person in the world, do not think you are alway right. That was the most important thing which Elica and Sally did not understand.
