Ten year ago, when I first attended to the kindergarten, I saw a very beautiful piano in the music room. This is the first time I saw the Piano in my memory, because I cannot play the piano or any instruments, so I have an idea to learn how to play the Piano at that moment.I told to my mom that i want to learn it. My mom smiled to me and she said” yes you can.” Later I had my first piano lesson.

When I first learned to play the piano, I just thought, what an easy instruments it is. I learned how to read music at first two weeks. Two weeks later, I can read the music, but I’m not skillful with reading music. Then I faced on another difficult problem: my piano teacher gave me a composition to play. Suddenly, I lost the confident. Because playing the piano is not same as other instruments, like flute, or clarinet There are 88 keys in the piano. My hands need to move from the first keys to the last keys fast and flexible. But i cannot do it, it is difficult for me to let my hands move so fast on the keys of the piano. Also I needed to play with a group of melody each hand even on foot, and play at the same time, and recite every single note and  pay attention to rhythm, intensity.  I should familiar with the rhythm as well. It was so tough.

After the next piano lesson, I went back home, told the hardship to my mom,  we find the way to overcame this hardship. Then we made a schedule, which is keep practicing for 2 hours everyday, and play one composition for so many times until I can play very fluency. I kept practicing at the first two days. But it was so boring; I sat down in front of the piano, just repeated several melodies. So I was so irritable. I can’t make my heart peaceful. I can’t concentrate until my mom sat down on the sofa, looked at me and said: “continue to play the piano! “My heart became peaceful. I continued to play. During the two week she has been there all along. I familiar with the composition, and I can play the composition easily without stuff.

I overcame this hardship because of my mother and I now I don’t need my mom sit down next to me. I always practice for many hours, and I can pay attention on the thing, which I want to do. I have already learned how to make myself peaceful. If I can make a schedule, it will remind me what  should do today or even this year. Work hard and don’t be afraid of anything, just keeps working on it, then I will succeed.
