What Is Your Sentence?
What is my sentence? Well, where do I begin? It's hard to think of one sentence to sum up an entire persons meaning and accomplishments in life. There are many sentences that could describe me in many different ways. But I think there is one sentence that truly captures my existence as a person. "She tried to live with no regrets, only lessons learned." This sentence truly speaks to me and reminds me of who I really am and what i strive to become. Who am I? I am a girl who wants to live, love and laugh. I believe in forgiving and forgetting. Everyone has different goals and missions in life. At the end of the day we are all human. We all make mistakes. Some people dwell on their mistakes and never move past it. As for myself, I like to never change the past. Instead I learn from it and have it motivate me to create better decisions in my life. When a person is so attached to one regret that they have, how are they supposed to continue living? How are they supposed to continue living if they're stuck on a section of life without moving on to the next chapter? I want to be portrayed as a strong girl who doesn't let people bring her down. I want to die knowing that I've done everything I could to enjoy myself and live in my moment, not my past. I want to spend every second of everyday enjoying myself and not worrying about doing something wrong. I think you should never regret something that once made you happy. I want to take risks and not think about the consequences. Better an "oops" than a "what if?". I don't want to fear mistakes. I should live my life not fearing failure. People need to accept that failure could happen, and that it's not necessarily a bad thing. I learn so much from my own regrets that almost always helps me in my future. "She tried to live with no regrets, only lessons learned." My sentence is me. My sentence is what I stand for. My sentence is what I live by. What is yours?
