Moving

Lots of people of all ages hate to move. Others see it as a great start to create a new life. I am one of the many who don't like to move. I hate to make new friends, adjust to the new house, and get used to the new environment. Many people have this problem and will sometimes never get over it. The stress of moving also can be another one of the many worries. Stress that you are going to get into a car crash while you are on your way, or that the movers will break something along the way can be hard to deal with. We should all have similar worries when or if we move.

Have you ever moved and were scared that you were never going to make new friends? I always have dreaded almost every time I move. One big reason is worrying if I’m ever going  to make new friends. I also worry if the people in the next school will think I’m weird or if I won't fit in. Every person is so masked by the idea of what people think of them that they are too scared to actually see the joy and anxiety of being able to meet new people and new friends. From what I have learned from moving so much is that people will like the actual you more than the one who is shy and won't reveal who they are under the shy, scared cloak that surrounds you.

Moving is also very hard, because kids have to adjust to the new school. At first they will try to keep up with the new schedule, but, like me at every school I have trouble keeping up with my surroundings and all the homework and classwork. This does not help with all the stress built up and holds a strong grip on you. You don't have to be nervous, it just makes everything harder and makes you even more behind on everything. At first the teachers will usually be really sweet and understand. After a while, they don't take it easy on you anymore. At some time you are just going to have to open up to your surroundings. This will get you far and  along the way.

The last reason that moving is hard is because you have to deal with all of the stress of loading and unloading the boxes, selling your house and finding one, and then wondering if it is actually nice. When you move the movers take your stuff. You always have to be scared if anything is going to get broken. Selling your house is always stressful you have to worry about if you are going to be able to sell it and actually get how much it was supposed to be.

Moving can actually be a great new start too. It can help you be the person you want to be, and helps you make new friends. This can be the best place ever as long as you try to enjoy it. I bet that next year you will be happy you moved even though it is hard to let go of your old life.
