*BOOM* “ Yo what the h*** somebody call an ambulance!” I say “ why isn’t this fool doing anything!?”. Okay, now I will start from the beginning. Me & one of my closet friend Juana were hanging out with Juana’s R.O.D house (Ride or Die) Karina. Karina was telling us about how her father got arrested for Drug Possession when she was only 5 years old & that he gets out of prison the next day, she was very excited because for the past 8 years of her life she has been seeing him through a window, she had missed his touch and smell.

The next day me & Juana were at Karina’s again around 11:00am. Karina said she wanted both of us to be there with us for support, I felt special because me and Karina had barley met but she wanted me there because I was a “true friend” like she said, It is 12:10 and we see a red 2006 Honda pull up in the drive way, me and Juana smile at each other because it was the day Karina got to see her dad after 8 years, Karina had a big smile on her face like a kid in the candy store, her arms open wider then a ripped rubber band she is screaming “Daddy Daddy” *Car Horn* “KARINA WATCH OUT” *BOOM*.

She was hit by gray 2011 Toyota truck going 100mph, the truck speeds off, I had fear that she had died, but she gets up, her leg twisted, her neck twisted, her mouth gushing bleeding, her arms and back scratched, when she got up she open her arms as far as she could and said “Daddy” and fainted. “Yo what the h*** somebody call an ambulance!” I say “Why isn’t this foo doing anything?!”. You are probably wondering what Juana meant. Karina`s dad just looked at her, her mother crying yelling “ Mi Bebe!” her dad went inside didn’t shed one tear, all he cared about was the TV show he missed for the past 8 years. I learned one valuable life lesson that day, just because you’re blood related to someone, does not mean that they love you, care for you, and wouldn’t take a bullet for you. Sometimes water is thicker then blood.
