We’ve been through hell and back which is no exaggeration.  Over time, we have learned everything about each other. Taylor and I haven’t been friends for too long. A year worth of memories I will probably never forget and for way more to come. Whenever we are with each other, I sound like a dying whale. Laughter fills the air within one second of us together. We have done the craziest things or even the funniest.

One day we thought it was a great idea to do something crazy. At Six Flags, the colors red, blue, and white slingshot into the air, literally. It’s this crazy metal contraption that sends you 146 feet into the air at 80 miles an hour.  Taylor and I took on this challenge on my birthday. We sat back, anxious and scared knowing we were going to be flying in the sky a minute later. We feel the slingshot roll back and we stare into the blinding, bright blue sky. The sun shined in our face like a bright flashlight. I could feel the heat on me like I was on a beach. When we listed from the ground beneath us, it felt like a plane taking off.   The anticipation probably would’ve killed us if the slingshot didn’t. Screaming and laughing, we look at each other and realized we were scared for no reason. People probably thought we cried like a babies, but really we just chocked on our laughter.

Our trust with each other is actually unbelievable. We tell each other every little detail from our lives. Each secret keeps us close, each memory bonds our friendship even more. We can tell each other the honest truth in every situation. We rely on each other for the small and the big. In my mind, we became friends just in time. High school has started which is a new beginning for a lot of people and with that, we have grown even closer. I can’t imagine anyone else by my side, taking me through life’s course. With our friendship growing like a weed, I feel like she was there for me even when we weren’t friends and that everything that has happened with us has just made us stronger than an army.

People tell us that they are jealous of our friendship. Taylor and I have a lot of good and bad memories. I pushed her out of her barn and her legs collapsed, or she flipped our tube at Six Flags, but in the end, memories like that keep us close. Through thick and thin, our friendship has grown in trust, honesty, and reliability. Taylor and I are the humorous, annoying, obnoxious, hilarious, funny-looking, over confident friends and hopefully we will stay by each other until the end of time.
