When I read the article Road Rules, I instantly felt lost. I do not visit a traditional high school. The school I go to is k – 12. There about 800 kids in the school, of which only 300 are students in high school.  The hallways at my school are never crowded in between the transitions of classes. The high school hallway of my school is only about 150 ft long. I have never faced such disturbances in the hallway.
All of the highs school students move freely without bumping into other students. If the things get dropped in the middle of the hallway, you could just pick it up without worrying about people knocking you over or one of your classmate will pick it up for you. You will never need to run to your next class because you are getting late. The classes are right next to each other. Due to this, you slowly start becoming a Sunday driver. You do not need to run to your class so you just stroll through the hallways, reflecting on your last class.  So you will not have to worry about the Speeders. You do not have to worry about people chatting in the middle of the hallway causing the student flow to a halt. You will have more than enough room to walk around the students. There are many people that just stop in the hallway right in front of you, known as the brake job. This is the only thing that annoys me. Why do people just stop in the hallway for no reason? I have had many incidents where I have ran right into the student’s back.
Sometimes it is good to run into these situations because in the future the memories of the littlest things will be unforgettable experiences. These are the little things you will miss about high school. Sadly, I have never ran into these situations. I think I would enjoy them, not then but maybe sometime in later in my life.
